There’s a key model in 60367 Passenger Airplane that brings LEGO City’s airport subtheme up to date with current technology.
Launching on September 1 for £89.99 / $119.99 / €99.99, the 913-piece 60367 Passenger Airplane looks mostly the same as previous LEGO passenger airplanes, but there’s a crucial inclusion that brings the build into the modern day.
60367 Passenger Airplane follows much the same formula as 3182 Airport, 7894 Airport, 60104 Airport Passenger Terminal and 60262 Passenger Airplane. It eschews the airport building but keeps the plane, tug, truck and stairs.

However, 60367 Passenger Airplane also includes an apron bus, which looks to be autonomous with room for at least one, maybe two minifigures. A design on a brick inside also seems to replicate a display, but there seems to be no space or controls for a driver.
Autonomous buses have been in use since at least 2019 but have been introduced further around the world in 2023, including in Amsterdam and Stockholm.

Considering that LEGO sets usually take a few years to develop, it’s an interesting bit of foresight from the LEGO City design team and helps evolve LEGO City’s airport with advancing technology.
With electric cars becoming more common in LEGO City and 60380 Downtown showcasing modern architecture, the long-running LEGO theme is evidently evolving.
