The first reviews of this summer’ssets are beginning to appear online, giving us a closer look at our heroes’ undersea escapades in the show’s 15th season.
As you might imagine from a season subtitled Seabound, the latest wave ofsets takes Lloyd, Kai, Nya and co. beneath the surface of the ocean for Atlantis-esque adventures. Perhaps the most obvious set to take inspiration from that fabled (and its accompanying theme in 2011) is , a sprawling, location-based playset.
YouTuberhas managed to get his hands on an early copy of the set through Jedi News – presumably picked up from the same retailer that revealed the Infinity Saga sets – and has now published a comprehensive review of the 1,060-piece model. And while he admits it wasn’t love at first sight, there are things to appreciate in .
“I still don’t love this set, but it is much better in person,” Justin explains. “I think the main build, which is the temple, is okay – I love this main section, but then the rest seems too small for the price. I really wish they expanded upon it… But then the design of [sea serpent] Wojira is what really stands out for me. I like how poseable he is, I like how sturdy he is, and that’s just a very interesting colour scheme.”
