5 – The 200th BrickHeadz
Set: 40625 Llama Price: £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 100

Hidden amongst the new LEGO sets for April 2023 is a monumental entry in LEGO BrickHeadz. 40625 Llama so happens to be the 200th caricature and gold numbering on the box helps to mark the occasion.
4 – An odd reflection
Set: 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90 Price: £209.99 / $239.99 / €239.99 Pieces: 2,336

In the rear-view mirror of 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90, a strange design is included, but this depicts the LEGO Campus in Billund, even matching the view from a nearby road.
3 – A tomb of references
Set: 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb Price: £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 Pieces: 600

77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb has a lot of easter eggs to retro LEGO themes, fitting the old location. These include one for Exo-Force, Star Wars and BIONICLE.
2 – Many locks
Set: 43217 ‘Up’ House Price: £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 Pieces: 598

The inside of 43217 ‘Up’ House has plenty of Easter eggs and detail taken straight from the Disney and Pixar film. However, the multiple locks on the inside door are one of our favourites.
1 – A meta inclusion
Set: 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters Price: £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 67

As reported previously, one of the logos for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 appears in 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters as an in-universe design. While it’s depicted in an alien language the resemblance is undeniable and it’s not a common occurrence in the world of LEGO.
