A new way of shopping has reached LEGO.com, inspired by the site ToySphere. First launched in September 2020, the website displays LEGO products according to themes in scrollable, dynamic spheres. Users can drag and zoom to find products and information related to any LEGO range, from LEGO Harry Potter to LEGO Minecraft, including some fan-made items. At the time of launch, ToySphere was not affiliated with the LEGO Group in any way.
Now, a similar style of browsing is possible on LEGO.com for LEGO NINJAGO only. The LEGO NINJAGO Universe Sphere is powered by the same technology as ToySphere and offers NINJAGO fans the opportunity to see all LEGO products from the range in one smooth 360° rotation, along with extra snippets of information about the sets.
While links within the LEGO NINJAGO Universe Sphere will take you through to the relevant product pages on the official online store, the main thrust of the experience is to offer a deep dive into the entire theme (and all that it encompasses, including videos and character bios).
