There is an interestingthat brings up the potential of a possible LEGO subscription program. The program includes perks that we are already familiar with via the LEGO VIP program, and also brand new offerings that seem really interesting. The idea of the survey is to compare two versions of the subscription program that would cost $4.99 per month.
In the first version of the program (see image above), you could return used bricks and receive discounts/points to use elsewhere with TLG, unlock rewards and benefits based on your interactions in digital (lego.com) and physical (LEGOland), free delivery on your LEGO purchases, free gifts with every purchase, the ability to purchase from the back catalog (get sets from previous years, etc.), and have access to limited edition products, as well as early access to products and content (video, audio, building instructions & games).
The second version of the program (see image above) is slightly different. For example, it would provide access to instructions for new builds using the bricks you already own, and insider access to behind-the-scenes information (how LEGO sets are designed, LEGO IDEAS mechanics, etc.). The survey walks you through both versions of the program and asks you questions about which features would you prefer and would be willing to pay for.
If you are interested to participate, the survey is available in the United Kingdom, United States, and Germany, and will earn you 150 LEGO VIP Points. The survey is available at theunder the Get More Points tab. It should take about 15 minutes to fill out.
I’m particularly intrigued by the idea of being able to purchase sets released in previous years and having alternate building instructions for the sets I already own. What do you think? Would you be interested in a LEGO subscription service? What features and benefits would you find most valuable? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!
