The first BrickLink Designer Program round two project has been funded already

After not an even hour since the BrickLink Designer Program’s second round went live, the first funded project has been revealed as a LEGO store.

Getting to 3,000 orders may not seem like an easy task, but for Krisnow’s Modular LEGO Store, it turns out the demand for the BrickLink Designer Program has made the goal achievable in under an hour.

The Modular LEGO Store is officially the first funded project of the BrickLink Designer Program round two, with more than 3,000 of the 10,000 maximum pre-orders filling it up already. Featuring 2,149 pieces, the build depicts a modular version of a classic LEGO store with a Pick-A-Brick wall, display models and more.

A backroom is also included for extra set storage, giving you a sneak peek behind the bricks. Despite crowdfunding closing on December 14, the project is funded already pre-orders can still be made until it reaches 10,000.

Closely following the Modular LEGO Store is the Mountain Windmill with the green bar nearly reaching the required mark to become an official set. The next three creations making up the top five at the time of writing are the Retro Bowling Alley, Venetian Houses and the Clockwork Aquarium.
